Swim Swim Swim

Las weekend we stayed at Nick's brothers house to house-sit/dog-sit/Dom-sit. It was fun to "get away" for a few days and nice to have a pool to hang out at! Macy just loved it! Nick's cousin Jim and wife Kristin and baby Cole came to swim with us one day. We had lots of fun soaking up some sun! Macy just loves her little boat and Cole loved his little pretzel! :) Dakota even likes to cool off now! We finished the night off with a delicious dinner at Olive Garden where Macy fell in love with their breadsticks.

 

Bountiful Basket

We just recently decided to try out a Bountiful Basket and just LOVE it! (www.bountifulbaskets.org) Every Saturday people volunteer at different sites and we get great baskets of fresh fruit and veggies all for just $15. You never know what you are going to get to its always a surprise, but we love having different healthy foods that we can experiment with. Macy went with me on the last trip and we took the wagon. She just loved when I loaded up with all the yummy fruits and veggies. She decided she wanted to try a plum and now that she has teeth, she was able to really bite into that thing. She absolutely loved it! When I took it away to take the sticker off she screamed bloody murder! Don't mess with that girl and her plums!

 

Macy 9 months

Its hard to believe that Macy has been here with us for as long as I carried her inside of me! She is just growing up so fast and I am loving each day of it. Although she is not crawling yet, she is very close and loves to stand up and hold onto things. Its only a matter of time before she will be ALL over the place (and not just rolling everywhere). Macy HATES baby food and only wants what we are eating...and I can't blame her. She's been loving summer time because that means swimming time! She could spend all day in the pool if she could. :)
Here is Macy's 9 month stats: weight: 16.7lbs (10-25%) height: 27.25in (25-50%) head: 43.5cm (25-50%)..she's our little petite girlie girl!

 

4th of July

We had another great 4th of July with the family! Although there wasn't as many people able to make it this year, we still made the most of it. Macy had a great time and really enjoyed all the lights! Macy entered the synchronized swimming contest with Daddy and won 1st place (but Daddy won 3rd). Nick and I won 1st place in the balloon toss! We also had another 4th of July "Rave" which everybody loves! Macy wasn't too keen on the loud fireworks...she'd rather play with her glow sticks. :)

 

Washington/Oregon Trip

A couple weeks ago, Macy and I were able to go spend some time with my family in Washington. We had lots of fun spending time at "Grandma and Grandpa"'s house. We played around, made hairbows, I went on my first motorcycle ride on my Dad's new bike, went swimming in the hot tub, and lots of other fun stuff! We were also able to go down to Oregon for my cousin, Janessa's wedding. Nick was able to join us for the beautiful weekend we had there. I miss not having my family closer!
