Happy New Year!!

We've been staying busy playing and working in Las Vegas. Nick got a new job with ADT selling security systems to small business and residential. He is doing a fantastic job so far and I am very proud of him! I have been non stop at work. I am grateful that even though its crazy at times that our office remains to have its waiting room full. There have been way over 50 offices that have closed in the valley in the last little while. We count our blessings.

I just returned home from a weekend in California where I was able to go to my Great Grandma Bain's funeral. She lived a long, good 92 years. It was nice to see people I haven't seen in years. It was fun to be able to celebrate her life with family. Dakota and I drove down and got to spend some quality time with my mom who I haven't seen in a while and other family members. We had a lot of fun. Dakota got to play at Grandma's as well as hit up the doggy beach in Huntington Beach. She wasn't too fond of the water, but loved running and chasing other dogs in the sand.

We look forward to this new year and await all the surprises ahead!
