Macy came October 5 at 8:42 am and weighed 6lbs 13 oz and measuring 19 in in length. Macy had perfect timing as my mom had come into town the week before and we had just enough time to get last minute errands in and finish up Macy's room. It was actually Monday when we worked all day on her room and that afternoon I started timing my contractions (which did not hurt, so I wasn't sure if it was the real thing). They were getting closer to 3-5 min apart like my Dr said, so we decided to head over to the hospital just in case. I was not expecting to stay there at all, but sure enough they wanted to keep me. After they made me walk the halls for an hour you better believe those contractions were real, and not feeling too great. Nick's mom, my mom, Nick and I had a long night awaiting the arrival of Macy. It wasn't until the next morning Macy was all ready to grace us with her presence. Labor wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. Everything went very well. After she came out, the nurse layed her on me in the towel and Macy just looked up at me and smiled :) We are so glad to finally have our little girl in our lives.
P.S. Macy came almost 2 weeks early...I have Bill Cosby and mint cookies to thank! :) I'm a believer!
