Memorial Day Weekend

This Memorial Day weekend, our lil family decided to take a trip down to California to chill. We had no plans on going anywhere but the beach and just lots of relaxing time. We are glad to have my Grandma (Moonpie) living in Anaheim so we always have a place to stay. Saturday morning we woke up to find that Macy had her first tooth pop up on the bottom right side. She had been so cranky for days before and now I know why. She loves biting everything now...especially me when she's nursing. I heard that you should flick them in the nose when they do it, so I tried...Macy looked up at me and made the most sad face I have ever seen!
Anyways, Saturday was spent going to lunch with Grandma and then we took Dakota to the dog beach. Surprisingly she got in the water with Nick and had a grand ol time! Macy loved the ocean air and watching all the doggies run around. After the beach, we came back to Grandma's and swam in the pool. Macy loved her new floatie and she just LOVES to go swimming and kick those feet!
Sunday we went to church with Grandma and she wanted to show off Macy to anyone who would pay attention to her...it was kind of funny. Uncle Pat and Aunt Jennifer came up from Palm Springs to come visit and have a yummy lamb chop dinner by Uncle Pat.
Monday we did a little shopping with Grandma and then went to San Clemente for lunch at the Fishermans Restaraunt on the pier. It was some delicious food and Nick got to try shark for the first time. He thought it tasted like steak.
We had a great time on our mini vacation... It was nice to get away from Las Vegas for a little while!
