Baking Day

On Monday December 1, all the ladies of the family got together for the annual baking day. This year was my first time and I had a great time. I was a little nervous what everyone was saying about it and how intense it can be. It was actually kind of relaxing. We all went to Aunt Suze's house and began the day early. We dipped A LOT in chocolate! :) Chocolate covered oreos, pretzels, nutty bars, marshmallows on sticks, and there was also, homemade almond roca, "salty nuts" and Grandma called them (they were actually sweet), drop cookies, lollypops, candy canes and so much more! At the end we split it all up between all of us to take to friends, parties, etc. I ended up leaving with an overflowing Marie Calenders bag! It was a lot of fun being able to hang out with just the girls. Can't wait till next year!

How much fun! I wish I lived near my mom and sister to do things like this. No family where I am at. Any good recipes send them this way
