Yes, it SNOWED in Las Vegas yesterday! Pretty crazy if you ask me. We had been hearing about all the snow up in Seattle and all the storms coming through elsewhere that we got a little jealous. :) It snowed at our house pretty much all day long, but nothing stuck. Just north of us however, got 4 inches! It was pretty exciting to see a winter wonderland right before Christmas.

I went to visit Grandma in Anaheim last week and it is a good thing I left when I did. I was planning on staying a few days longer, but all the talk about a storm blowing through made me change my mind. I had to drive home by myself since Nick was on a business trip in Salt Lake. I came home Saturday morning and passed through some icky weather, but nothing too bad. Yesterday I heard on the news that they had closed the pass from Las Vegas to Southern California due to all the snow fall. Whew!! I made it.

I had a good time in Anaheim for the little time I was there. I got to spend some quality time with Grandma. We went out to eat a lot and of course we went shopping. Her back yard is coming along nicely. The facelift on the pool looks fantastic and I can't wait to go swimming in it!

This is the new waterfall into the hot tub. I bet it will look pretty cool when its on!
All the old tile was removed and pebble was put in. Looks very nice!

.....and someday I will get one of these....... They've been sitting out by the pool since before I can remember!

This is one of my favs hanging on the wall at Grandma's :) what a cutie!
