Vadney Vibe

This Thanksgiving week has been pretty fun.
Monday, I picked up our Nieces, Dominique and Gabby from school, and they got to hang out with Aunt Ashley for a while. After the girls did their homework we played a grueling game of Twister and some Cranium.

After playin around for a while, we were starving! We decided to make some personal size pizzas. The girls had a lot of fun kneading the dough and adding all their favorite toppings. Dominique was the only brave one to toss her dough. She's basically a professional.

The rest of the week we got ready for Thanksgiving! We stayed in Las Vegas and went to Aunt Suzie and Uncle Wayne's house with the rest of the family on Thursday. We had a DELISH dinner with everyone! After dinner we scoped out the ads for Black Friday then went with some cousins to see Four Christmases..Funny movie! I was supposed to go out shopping with my sis in law Sylvia at midnight but I chickened out.

Nick and I went out on Friday after sleeping in for a while. I wanted to get some things at JoAnns and Nick was nice enough to come with. Little did I know that you had to take a number to get something cut, and it was going to take 4 hours!! Nick and I made a little fort into one of the shelves and camped out there for about an hour and a half. After that long, I wanted to leave. It was already miserable. We went to In and Out Burger, then to Walmart to see what all the hype was. It was still crazy, but not as crazy as what I heard it was that morning at 5. Supposedly a worker in New York was trampled and killed that morning by all the crazy shoppers. My brother Dallin said that he was working from 5-7 when the shoppers busted in, and he said he had to run for his life to get out!! yikes! After we were done at Walmart we thought of going back to JoAnns to humor ourselves. When we walked in, they were almost to our number and so we went back to our shelf and all our stuff was still sitting there! It was awesome! :) We went a few more places and even bought our new bed! :) It comes tonight and we cannot wait! It will be so nice to finally sleep through the night.

After a long day of shopping we went to Nicks brother Mikes house to have dinner with Mike, Sylvia and Dominique. It was nice to just relax and talk with them.

On Saturday we went with Mike and Sylvia to their friends house up in Indian Springs to go shooting. It was my first time shooting a hand gun, and it was CRAZY! The kickback on that thing is rediculous!! I think I shot a lot better with the other one. I forgot what it was called, but absolutely no kickback and very quiet. Nick kept saying how bad he was, and after his first round, blew everyone away! He's so modest!

Sunday night was the Chesniks (Nicks cousin) Christmas party/ November birthdays party. We had yummy "Chicken Pillows" and lots of other good stuff. We celebrated Sylvia, Becky, and Amy's birthdays. We also played a long game of Christmas Carol Pictionary. It was just a riot!

Today was the annual baking day for all the women in the family. There will be more to come!....
