Yesterday was the first official snow day Las Vegas has seen in 29 years! Although the snow had already begun melting, they canceled school anyway. Wednesday was a winter wonderland! It snowed at our house all day long and we got about 2 1/2 " here. Other places around the valley got up to 8". It was weird to see the desert blanketed in white. The Airport came to a standstill since they don't keep snow equipment on hand. People were going crazy!
We still have a little snow here and there, but the sun has come back out and it has warmed up...but not much!
My mom keeps me updated of the weather up in Seattle, and i'm hoping we can fly in ok next week! They are really getting hit hard with the snow and ice up there...There's a good chance we'll have a white Christmas!
